Recently I have traded in my old make up brushes that had really done their dash and purchased some new ones from Mac and I am not disappointed. Not at all!
Previous to using a foundation brush - I would use a sponge or even just my hand! But since using a brush, and the correct type of brush I have seen a huge improvement in my skin and I am also using a lot less foundation.
It is so important to clean your brushes regularly and let them dry.
This will keep your skin looking fresh and your foundation too. It will also lengthen the life span of your beautiful brushes by a lot more!!
Before I go on to tell you about my fav brushes I have to show you a great brush cleaner to use!
"This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibres so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean and helps shorten their drying time."
You can purchase this beauty in at a Mac store or online at -

$20 and it will really help your brushes and your skin out a lot!
Now onto my brushes, I cannot help but gush about them! They have helped my skin look so so so much better and stay on throughout the day and night! All three are from the Mac store and are great!
The top guy is Number 129-
He is a powder/blush brush and is an all-purpose brush for all types of powder for your face.
The fibres are soft and full to form a rounded shape which is beautiful for when you apply bronzer too! I love to contour my cheeks with this guy!
Middle homie is Number 187 and is a Duo Fibre Brush-
This guy is meant to be used to lightweight application and the blending of powder and pigments to add texture. I have used it a few times for pigments but he has become my favourite foundation brush.
The duo fibres make application a lot lighter onto your skin and with the full circular shape it is always so even! This guy is the reason I am using so much less foundation and coming away with better coverage!
Last hombre on the list is Number 130- and is similar to his big brother above but is obviously smaller and has a flatter top. I love using this guy for applying creams and my concealer on my chin and under my eyes. 130 is a Duo Fibre also and really smooths out your face so you are photo ready! This guy can also get those hard to reach places like inbetween your eye and nose and around your nostrils.
These are my three favourite brushes, I have only ever really tried Mac but i know you don't have to fork out $70 for a brush if you just want to try one out before you commit!
Eco-tools are all natural and offer a great range at great prices so also give them a go!
LOVE
