Update

Life has been so full on since I last posted! 5 weeks away with the most amazing man in the craziest place I have ever been, MURICA!!!

I don't know where to begin...

 We are currently working on a holiday blog post together, but for those of you who have partners..you'll know that there's not a lot of time to sit down with them during the week and write about delicious food because we are all so busy with work etc. but we are working on it! I promise you!!!

We got engaged while away in Yosemite!! Rob proposed next to the amazing waterfall on the Vernal falls hiking trail and it was just amazing. I have no words! Again, photos will be posted along with the whole story! Weeeee. Be prepared for millions of wedding inspiration posts and tips and ideas so you can follow along with my plans :) 

Rob and I were just down south at our friends wedding and it was amazing! 

Down in Denmark, Western Australia. 

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. So romantic and pure. We will definitely have to go down there again for another trip with friends or/and with familia.

This weekend we have another wedding and I'm actually a maid of honor for this one and I am soooo excited! I just can't wait :) my friend Jen will look absolutely stunning! Her wedding is out in the Swan Valley, WA which is beautiful! I'm so excited!!

It seems like it's wedding season, can't wait till we can start planning our very own big day. I think we will have an almost casual wedding. Someone warm and pretty. 

I've also decided that I need to post more often and about more things... So follow along!

America in 8 dayz

THE TIME HAS COME

it has all shnuck up on us so fast and i can't believe that in 8 days, we will be hopping on a big plane and jetting off to the states!!

I cannot it begin to explain how excited i am about this trip! It's going to be so good for Rob and I, until i get really annoying and he wants to leave me in San Fran..But until then - super good!!!!

I'm getting a bit anxious about the whole packing situation though.

i am an extreme over-packer and Rob is the lightest packer i have ever seen. he literally packs the bare minimum and i pack for any situation.

what if there is a Blizzard? a heat wave? what if i end up going to a red carpet event?

all these options you know? it's all very nerve racking and time consuming.

How many pairs of knickers do i take? how much makeup? what shades of lippy? i'm losing it. I really am.

someone help me please.

also, to those of you who have been to the states.. did you pack the weight on?

because I know imma come back looking like a slug.

I watch that show man vs food and it makes me feel sick but i KNOW that i'll be in my absolute element while surrounded by all those deep fried treats.

lawd have mercy on my booty and my thighs.

I'm going to take my running gear and walk around in my Nikes and tights to look as though i'm working out but like.. let's be real.. i'm only wearing that attire to trick you into thinking i'm working out. And because the tights make my booty look perky.

its a win-win scenario for everyone involved.

i'm also super excited about the flight over.

I love flying. I love pestering Rob on long flights and watching movies and reading books.

The only thing i'm not too keen on is how chilly it is up in the air. It's like a movie cinema.. why you so cold?

I am also looking forward to the people watching at the airports and also on the plane.

I like to watch people from a distance and like.. make up their life stories and their relationships with the people they are sitting with.

I literally am a creeper.

Give me tips on what to pack and what to do!! Give me all of your ideas!!

Rih is my baby but that dress looks like one of those toilet paper doll covers that your friends nana would have in her loo when you were a kid...

her eyebrows are on fleek though, like i have never ever seen them look so good in my life. Her skin was glowing and almost glittering and she was just radiating. she looked so happy. The dress for me was a miss but she is such a hun. I still love bae.

Katy Perry looking like a classy cat.

 seriously though, that winged liner makes her look like a feline. Not that that is a bad thing but with the purple hair and the drop-sequin dress with the high-neck.. i just..can't.

I mean if you separate her face to her body.. it looks great! that face and hair with a sexy low cut dress would be amazing.  Personally - i'm not a huge fan of this ensemble but you can't have an insane Super-Bowl half time show AAAND look amazing at the grammys... cough...Beyonce...

BUT - i think this white gown would look stunning without that piece metallic material that they found in the scrap material bin at school. All-white with her stunning tan and luscious locks.. amazing. would have been amazing. And how cute are her and Big Sean as a couple? so cute!

Felt kinda underwhelmed by my queen for the Grammys. 

But you know..i think it's because she is constantly stunning and always elegant.

I think a darker lipstick honestly would have set this look off.

 I LOVE this couple. could they be any cuter? I'm totally bias because I am a sucker for a white gown and ALSO a sucker for a grey suit.

I think they look fresh as a daisy. 

I can imagine that Chrissy Teigen would be like.. your best friend. she would eat cake with you when you have your period and put chocolate on her teeth to make you laugh you know?

Sometimes i am afraid that people think that i am something that i'm not. I don't want them to look at me and see a girl who wears a lot of makeup and takes selfies and posts them all over instagram because i think they will assume that i am 'stuck-up' or cocky.  There isn't anything wrong with loving makeup. there's nothing wrong with taking a photo of yourself and being like "damn, today i look good". nothing wrong with that at all.

there is also nothing wrong with loving yourself. You need to love yourself. I am far from perfect but one thing i have covered is respect for myself and self love. I respect myself enough to walk away from anyone or anything that no longer helps me grow as a person. If it isn't positive then i don't want a bar of it. 

In no means do i think i am perfect. but i know that i have some good qualities about myself that i really like. - I am loyal. i will never leave you when you need me. 

I am honest, sometimes too honest but i will always tell you if you have something stuck in your teeth.-i am fun. I know this because people tell me and also because i can have fun by myself. and i am warm. 

I feel like everyone should make a list. Three things that you like about yourself. It can be your eyes, your boobs or your hands. It can be your laugh, your witty remarks or the way you make scones. Anything. These things make you, you! and the sooner that you learn to love yourself then the sooner you will find happiness. True happiness.

that's what's really important in life. being at peace with yourself and being happy. Nothing else matters at the end of the day. 

Just your happiness.

I am serious about this list. Three things that you really like about yourself. You should do it and then send it to me. Do it. 

I want people to have the self respect and self love that i have grown to have. young girls especially. It worries me. like, social media is awesome. but its so worrying. the amount of young girls on instagram and tumblr and Facebook and everything else. constantly being put down by other people. young people don't know that what these people are saying isn't true. And how they compare themselves to others? my god. the comments i see! and i have received some comments on my photos from young girls.. 13 and 14. saying things like "i wish i had your body", "i wish i had your eyes"... no way. how can you compare yourself to me? i am a woman. you shouldn't really have a body like mine right now anyway!! but that's what they are doing. they are scrolling through the internet. comparing themselves to others. their self confidence getting lower and lower with each new profile they reach. when really - if they took a step back and realised how beautiful and individual they really are then they wouldn't feel the need to leave comments like that on pages. they wouldn't be so sucked in and obsessed with social media. 

It's scary. we need to work on self-love and self-respect for the younger generations to break this cycle. it should be taught in schools!! learning how to love yourself is just as important (if not more) than learning your times tables! it will get your further in life.

So here's what i am asking you to do.

Three things.

Three things that you love about yourself.

It can be anything!!!

I want you to write these down and hold onto them.

I want you to have them next to your bed and in the morning you can look at them. Put them in your phone. So when you feel low you can look at those things.

They are what makes you, you! You are so beautiful and you are so different and i want you to respect yourself and love yourself.

THREE THINGS GUYS!!!! Only three. Please!! It'll make you feel good.

Self love is everything. Happiness is everything. They go hand in hand.
